[SYNOPSIS]

A Gloucestershire farming family diversifies 40 acres of their land into wetland, orchard and native woodland. Through the Trees for Climate programme, the Forest of Avon Trust brought the plans together and committed fifteen years of support — leaving something on the land that will benefit other people long after the planting.

[TRANSCRIPT]

"We've always had an association with the land. It's just the idea — going out in the morning, it brings you alive, walking through woods.

Out of the blue came the Forest of Avon, and they said, we can pull everything together. It was basically like sprinkling magic dust.

What I liked about the Forest of Avon and the Trees for Climate programme is that they give you fifteen years of support. It'd be nice to think that we'd left something that benefited other people."
